The Ghost Keys is the setting of the Rain of the Ghosts series. Officially called "The Prospero Keys", it consists of a chain of tropical islands on the edge of the Bermuda Triangle. The natives called it "The Ghost Keys" or "The Ghosts".
Located southeast of Florida, midway between the Bahamas and Cuba, they Keys comprise eight islands. Its biggest one being San Próspero, whose capital city is Pueblo de San Próspero, a small town on the edge of the jungle for the natives and a medium-sized destination resort for tourists.
The main industry of the Keys is tourism, but there are also fishing, agricultural, and industrial ventures, and a U.S. military base.
